Earth is dying Help fix it
Pollution is something that is occurring all over the world. The amount of pollution in the world is affecting the health of everyone on Earth and of the earth itself. Pollution is the largest environmental cause of diseases and death. This issue is important because this affects us and the earth if we aren’t taking care of the earth and throwing things away in the places, they belong in. Pollution worldwide has caused more than 9 million deaths and that is 3 times more than AIDS and tuberculosis combined. It is also expensive as well and it is costing the earth at an approximate $8.1 trillion in 2019. All the population is also affecting animals and the ocean.
Many animals are dying due to pollution and their habitats are being affected by all the pollution and garbage that are found in their homes. Animals are also getting sick because of this and some animals that we eat can also be infected with some diseases and when we get to eat them it is possible that the same diseases can be passed through us when the animals are consumed. Raising awareness about this issue is important for everyone around the globe. We should all contribute and try to raise awareness about all the pollution around the world. We should bring up how factories and cars affect the air quality and, we can bring up how leaving trash affects our lives and the lives of animals. In the Interventionists reading it states “Alex Villar makes visible the “uses” of public space. The video shows Villar ignoring the city’s spatial codes and therefore resisting their effects upon the organization of everyday experience. He jumps fences, slides between railings and squeezes into the corners of buildings.” This shows how actions and protest can help bring awareness to issues that are going on in the world. Another quote from the Interventionists is ““For Graffiti so loved the world that it gave itself to the sole purpose of giving to earth everlasting beauty.” Graffiti was so such a huge impact that the world saw beauty in it and many were inspired by it.
