Hello my name is Ciara Riley-Fitts I go to NJCU. Here I study biology. I am from Belleville,NJ where I attended Belleville highschool. I want to be an obstetrician and gynecologist so I can touch base on women's health. I want to be in a profession that I can be myself in and help those who need it. In the picture below I have a woman taking care of her kids showing the nurturing but yet reality of life. I relate to the picture because it shows where I came from yet what I will always be a part of. I grew up in a family where my dad was not around as much.This picture inspires me because I can feel the reality of it. Due to me growing up in a similar household I understand the true meaning. As you can tell in the picture the father is not present yet you have a strong woman taking care of the children which was the same as my household. Also it shows the bond and mother’s love which I would experience first hand when I deliver children in my dream profession.
Alice Neel is a visual artist from Brooklyn, New York. To me she is very much known as an everyday reality artist. What I mean by this is that she drew things and reasons for today.
